Default HMRC - 2 Step verification

Does anyone have any issues receiving SMS messages from HMRC on their US phone number?
Access codes don't seem to come through... I wonder if AT&T are blocking them for some odd reason.

Yes. Same issue. Couldn't be bothered arguing with the various parties as to which of them was causing the issue and resorted to old-fashioned paper mail for what I needed to get done.

Same carrier (AT&T) involved. No idea if it works elsewhere.

Just spoke to HMRC and they said they are aware and working on a fix as a matter of urgency. Seems we can skip the 2-step for now though (i never activated it).

Thanks for the update.

I don't get a warm, fuzzy feeling that, as a mechanism, it will be there and working in the future when it is really needed...
