Hi Woodsey...so you're located in LA hey? Scary place I found and I only drove through it at two in the morning, or rather around it....and got caught in a traffic jam 
I think we're all lurkers at first, I belong to another forum as well and I lurked there a long time before I was brave enough to say something.
This lot in here seem friendly enough....I've had quite a few giggles at some of the comments made....it's like being in a pub at home.

Hi BrandonBrit - I'm around the LA area too, about 20miles outside the city, in "The Valley" where they make all the porn. Its not THAT bad really trust me... I've only been here in the US for a year tho so not so much the veteran... tho the guys on here DEFO helped me out over that time.

Hi Andy... Nice to meet you so are you liking LA? My fav place in CA is San Francisco.... thought it was wonderful both times I've been able to visit...people are friendly there too...
Love AZ... am just waiting for the weather to warm up though, it was never this bloody cold here or rainy when we lived here before, although today isn't too bad, I see some blue sky this morning...don't know how long it's planning on staying that way though
