Why would you assume I want a gun?!
I am a keen herper and Arachnid collector and there are some heavy restrictions on what you can and cannot keep here, that is what springs to my mind among other things. I really feel like some here are just taking the piss unnecessarily.

They're taking the piss because they're Brits.
But they're also telling you what you don't want to hear which is that basically you don't have chance in hell of coming to the US given the facts so far. And these are all people that are living in America and have overcome the immigration hurdles.
