I would not go without a visit...no chance..the thing is..I would rather stay in Europe..but hey...just keeping all options open
Like I said...I don't know if I can stand to be surrounded by military Americans ..what are the other people like in that area..don't like very conservative, to religions or racist people...

The South is "religious", the Church car parks here are packed on Sunday and the resturants shortly afterwards....... Its just a cultural thing here......no-one forces you to atend. I rarely meet anyone who rams religion down my throat though......
As far as the racism thing goes, there are black and white communities, there are a few mixed.....they tend to be the newer ones.
You hear racist comments from both colours here and its true to say there are some real nasty areas........again, do your homework if you are really interested.

Im not sure..........it might ring a distant bell. Pet cemetary......
We enjoyed the inside of the casemates, they held Jeferson Davis there for a while.
Went fishing over in Delmarva (remember the name?) across the HRBBT at a campsite where they have a line of sunken concrete liberty ships........its a bit creepy to look at them now.
Yes, if you like the water, this is a good place to live.....
I do forget you are familiar with the area.....

I was not aware that not liking racism makes you a racist..and I don't like extremes in any way no matter what it is...nothing wrong with that..

Sorry, I have to disagree with that. When we lived in Minnesota, there were kids playing in the street and where we live in Norfolk, VA, this is also the case. Kids play outside with the sidewalk chalk, riding bikes, skateboarding etc. I don't think it is a thing of the past at all.

Its such a pain that you have to arrange weeks ahead to have a kid around for play
