so what visas do i need if i have been offered a job in america and if successful and i get a visa can i apply to become an american citizen

You *may* be eligible for a work visa ... or you may not
You *may* be eligible for a green card (permanent residence) or you may not
You aren't eligible for citizenship for at least 5 years after you're a permanent
resident which takes about 3 years to get.
Employers usually have to start the non-immigrant work visa process.
