I need to make a fresh start by moving somewhere new and I thought because I like america so much I may as well consider going there.

Your options are limited and none is a quick one:

- diversity lottery (because Irish)
- H1b (lots of hurdles - very long-term - do a search and read...)
- L1 (ditto)
- marriage to USC ;)
