British food in New York

Great stuff! :D

Tea & Sympathy (great name!) seems to get good reviews.

Oh, and let me be the first to welcome you to British Expats!

I'm sure you'll find others far more helpful than myself who will be along shortly!

Cost plus world market. They are all over the place, it's costs a lot but you get an instant fix. I like the clearance section

Not NY City I guess.

No way you could have been there for 5 months and not found somewhere.

T&S is a cute place, but tiny. I was there a few years ago, they did seem to have some of the snacky items that Brits in America pine for.

If you are in NYC (please clarify) there are loads of little bodegas dotted around that have British food aisles. As well as Teas and Sympathy there is Myers of Keswick, A Salt and Battery, Chip Shop and many more.

Suggestion: you're in a foreign country. A fantastic place like NYC. Why not try the local stuff? Go to the delis etc. Why travel 3,500 miles to look for twiglets and mars bars(tm)?
