No kidding. Also, I used to work just a spit and a Honda ride from Amazon.co.uk. They were based in Aberdeen Avenue in Slough back then, and I worked on the Bath Road for 13 years...

In NY? Hmmm..any cost plus world markets? stater brothers? likely not, so try amazon.com, they have free super saver shipping on some items. I get Heinz beans and HP brown sauce that way...works for me...

I like the other option of when I go back to the UK, bring back an extra suitcase full of goodies

Wegmans have a good selection of British stuff and Tops are starting to stock some stuff, tea, biscuits, lucozade and stuff like that.

If you're upstate or Western NY like I am, then there's a place just over the border Niagara on the Lake that has British stuff and they'll ship it to you as well.

http://www.scottishloft.com/

food from all corners of the UK, DVD's of tv shows etc

There's Tea and Sympathy as everyone has suggested (be sure to get fish n chips next door at A Salt and Battery!).

I'm just outside NYC and all our supermarkets carry a small selection of British stuff. Also any Irish areas have stores just dedicated to British stuff. Finally, Fairway has a good selection of chocolate, Walkers Crisps etc..
