You mean have no immigration rules - just get someone pregnant and then go live in that country?

You could apply for joint custody of the child, or for visitation rights for him/her to visit you. My parents lived in separate countries when I was a child and I traveled from one to the other several times a year.

First, it would seem to me that someone could get a visa to live in USA based on being the parent of a USA citizen, but maybe that's not an option otherwise there would not be so many Mexicans being deported.

Secondly, I have to say this -- It is great that you wish to be near your child and participate in its upbringing, so I would assume you are ready willing and able to pay for its support? It should not be a matter of them catching up with you. It is the right thing to do.

Having a USC child does not entitle it's parents to a US visa. When the child reaches 21 he/she can apply to sponsor a parent.
