Help With MIN income requirement for I-864
Hi guys ,
my wife(USC) is filing I-864
We are little confused with the calculation of the income requirement
Household size : 2 (herself & me)
State : NH
Year Wages 1099 Misc
---- ----- ---------
1999 $10400 $5200.65
2000 $11400 $4400.31
2001 $12100 $6600.50
- The wages to be considered is the amount in the box 1 i.e."wages,tips & other comp." of the W2 , right ?
- As per my understanding her income is above the min. requirement.
Help is deeply appriciated ...!!!
Thanx

Your definition of the W2 amount is correct. "1099 Miscellaneous" is for interest
from savings banks, credit unions, certificates of deposit, and other similar
investments.
