help with Living Visa & good british solicitor

Bleemster is an unknown quantity at this point

hi everyone....

my dad is an american citz, and im a brit 22yrs old.
but were applying for my visa's soon, how long does it take to get a work or living visa?

and does anyone know of a good lawyer, preferablly in the uk but im not really that fussed!

help me! anyone =(
