No the C.S.A will not bother because his not in England, and you just tell them you dont know his whareabout's anyway. As long as the child is born in England your USC husband has no right's just as long as you stay in England, good luck to you, Englands not so bad at looking after it's single parents, none of us never know what's round the corner, before anyone start's on about singel parents.

The CSA cannot enforce a maintenance order against someone with no ties to the UK.

You are very fortunate that you are a UK resident, because fathers have relatively little right to access a child against the mother's wishes. If you do not wish to live in the US, obviously, don't marry your fiance, and have the baby in the UK.

The only way that your fiance could request access would be if he were to be resident in the UK, and he would have a difficult time with the court system. Under US law he would have many more rights regarding his child, whether or not you were married and whether or not his name were listed on the birth certificate.

As to future American citizenship of your baby....that's complex, and it doesn't sound like you want to ensure that that option is available. You have plenty of time to research the issue.... birth certs can be modified after the birth.
