Question help with I-130 and I-485 forms

Hi,

I am trying to fill out forms. I am a BritishExpat married to an american. Our household income is from my job as I am on an L-1. When looking at the fees for the different forms, does anyone know if I need to file both the I-130 and the I-485 forms and pay both sets of fees?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get this all approved?

Can I make it quicker in anyway?

Has anyone else been in the same situation as I am now and have any suggestions on dealing getting my status changed?

Thanks

British Expats has a forum (it's acutally a usenet group) dedicted to immigration issues relating to marriage to a US citizen (USC).

Please search that forum for your answers. If you don't find anything, please repost there.
