Help - Humax PVR - can we view recorded shows in US?

Hi all,
we are moving over in 2 weeks...we have a Humax 9200T we are thinking of bringing over. It will work on 100-230V supply, but will the programmes we have recorded onto the hard drive be viewable in USA. My kids happiness during the move may depend on it!

I know this is a PAL system rather than NTSC...does this make a difference when just watching recorded shows. We can bring a small TV TV if that is what makes the difference.

Thanks any help.

Sorry, I don't believe it will work. Your UK Humax is setup for UK television stations and will have no idea of the US network. Not just that, the RF connections used in the UK are different to the coax ones used here in US.

EDIT: Sorry, missed your original point. YES, your existing recordings will ABSOLUTELY work. You just won't be able to record any further.
