Here is the response from Coach:

Thank you for your inquiry.

"We are sorry to learn your Coach bag is stained.
It is our policy to stand behind our goods against manufacturing defects for the natural life of our merchandise, excluding normal wear.
We do not offer a cleaning or refurbishing service. Harsh chemicals will damage the fabric and leather.
Unfortunately, there is little we can suggest that will remove certain stains, such as ink, grease, paint, or oil once they have soaked into the leather.
As you continue to use your item, spots and stains will tend to blend in and become less noticeable.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us."

Not much help so now to find a leather restorer..

Do you have insurance? Perhaps accidental damage is covered?

That's better:rofl: I'll have to contact my insurance company and see if it is covered. The bag is beautiful and really all I want is for it to be repaired.

The deductible is probably more than the bag is worth, or the premiums will be after you make a claim.

Unless you're talking one of the bags that's a grand or more.

Take it to any decent tailor or shoe shop, they'd be your best bet at getting it fixed and if they can't do it, get the bag re-dyed.

If you're about to write the bag off...if you get to the point when you'll never use the bag again because of the stain...then I would try a tiny amount of bleach. I would only try bleach just before I was about to throw it in the bin...at that point you have nothing to lose. First attempt dilute the bleach and only put a tiny spot on to see what happens. I haven't used bleach on leather but I have on a Burberry bag. Blue dye transferred to the bag from a pair of new jeans I wore. I couldn't move the mark...Burberry were no help at all...in the end I used Jiff with bleach...then a spot of bleach...eventually it worked and the bag wasn't harmed. As I said the part of the bag that needed treating was not leather.

I just got black biro ink off the leather seats in the car with a product called 'Goof Off'

It was amazing - came right off and didn't leave a mark. You can get it at wallymart or other hardware type places - comes in a yellow tin.

Had you already "treated" the ink with any other king of chemical as I have? I'm just wondering that now it has stained into the leather maybe the bleach is now the best option...

I would try the Goop stuff first.

I must stress...only use bleach as a very last resort. When you get to the point of...I am never going to use this again...so I may as well throw it away.

Edit: Have you tried to find any Coach forums?

That's what I'd do -- but I am prone to dye/spray everything I get my hands on black anyway! :D
