it's costing me $1000 per month and $15 co pay for office visit then $15 for any medications and I belive $50 for an emergency room visit.......I recon if you add it up over the year it cost me about $35 per day 365 days a year.....which in essence adds up to $49 per day if I do a 5 day work week :scared: :scared: ........it's just getting out of control

Wow that is unbelievable, I *should* pay about $2200 a year for Medical and Dental, with a $15 co-pay and the insurance covers 80% of medical costs.
I say I should pay, but luckily I don't pay anything, free medical was part of my contract. Also, the company I work for is self-insured.

I pay ziltch... tho I have been told that the policy I have is around $600/month. $10 copay for all visits, $50/day for hospital stay, $150 for ER visit.
I think its well worth it... esp seeing as tho I've racked up $20,000+ in bills in the 20months I've been here.

Paying per $500 month for whole family (HMO 90% ) with Dental and $750k life insurance. We have $500 deductable each year which I always forget about. I think its a good deal esp with kids going through ortho treatment. Cheaper than my NI was in the UK

500 per month that gives you 750k life ins and dental included????????......I would imagine the dental and life ins would be close to 500 pm alone.....how come so cheap?

We're in our mid 20's....medical, dental, life and eyeballs is about $200 a month for us both....covers generic prescriptions and it's an 80/20 % cover...$150 deductible on the teeth, can't remember for health, I think it's about $200.
Gotta pay the first $50 for ER visit and then they'll cover the 80% for the rest...no pre existing conditions, no kids, no pill.
The doctors in town are shite and the hospital sucks...$230 it cost me for a tetanus jab.

About $630/mo for two of us. Employer covers $540 of that. Your $1000 seems very steep.

We pay $150 a month for both of us. $12 for office visit, $15 for prescriptions, and half of all dental work covered. Everything else is covered, and can go to any Dr we like. I think it's a pretty good deal all round for us...thankfully.
