Default Health Insurance- Please Help

I am seeking advise on Health Insurance that will hopefully only be required until I get a job in America.
I have spoken with Dave Tester Insurance Services in the U.K. Has anyone had experience using him?

He has recomended the Morgan Price MedEx Plan, has anyone had this policy.
I am looking for a policy that I can easily cancel when I get a job, or that is a month by month plan.
I have also looked at Inbound Immigrant and have doubts over it's coverage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I will be arriving in the U.S in 6 weeks

Thanks

Most domestic US medical insurance policies are cancellable month to month. I wouldn't want to be trying to make a claim on a British based policy if I fell sick - and you may find that (i) it is recognized as "medical insurance" here, and that (ii) you'd have to pay the bill yourself and and then claim on the insurance in the UK.

I'd look at providers like Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, or Mamsi. Search for them with the name of your state as BC/BS is a different corporation in different states.
