Health insurance companies. How can you challenge them?
Does anyone know who or how you can go about challenging them?

Challenge them in what way? What's the issue, and what are you trying to achieve?

Exactly what they did to us ... refused to pay for treatment...after agreeing too with the doctor ... then cancelled the policy and refunded all the premiums paid ...to get out of it ...

When we had such a problem I pestered them until I got to talk to a supervisor who was daft enough to give me her direct line number - so I kept calling her until she got it sorted.
On another occasion I had to get our doctor to do a retrospective prior authorization to get emergency treatment at the 'wrong' hospital paid for.
I guess this is not terribly helpful...
However, the Discussion Boards at the US Motley Fool is now free - they have an Insurance Board - it's under Financial Planning. Why not ask there?
