Health Insurance

My family and I are emigrating in September, My wife and children are US citizens and I am a permanent resident. My question is I would like to secure Health Insurance prior to our arrival. I have as yet to get a job however it shouldn't be a problem as I am an electrical engineer. However for peace of mind, does anyone know of any companies I could get in touch with regarding Health insurance?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure there's been numerous threads in this and possibly the Trailer Park forum on this very subject. Please search for past threads.

Aye, welcome to BE and search the forums, it has come up lots.

Also don't be so sure about getting a job so quickly just because your a electrical engineer...qualifications might not mean very much over here, depending on where you move to, and no US work experience won't help either.

Thanks for the encouragement!! I have already researched electrical qualifications and the quals I have are compatible in the US. So as I said getting a job WON'T be a problem.!!!!
But thank you tothe others....and also don't always believe what you read and hear!

Thanks.
