He has the same or higher security clearance from both governments as well and if I read you properly, you are not a spring chicken but have to be in your 50's. Finding employment for yourself, will not be easy.

I agree. Lack of a formal degree combined with the widespread ageism prevalent in the computer industry is going to make job hunting tricky in this economic climate.
