Default Have I made right choice

I moved back here 8 weeks ago with my USC wife on a spousal visa and think it may have been wrong choice.

I gave up living in US after 8 years but did not take up full citizenship I am starting to wonder if it was the right choice I know it's early days.

I feel my wife is finding it hard to adapt just as I am but also want things to work out here I have my family my wife has only me.

I don't want 6 months to go bye then find my savings in US have gone on trying to find work rent a car insurance so am holding back on Giving up my Green Card so that if we do decide to go back I won't have to much of a problem.

At the end of the day my Marriage is more important to me than where I live and don't want to live apart from my wife

It's only been 8 weeks. I would say give it more time. It's bound to be difficult to adjust, but maybe you'll feel differently in 2-3 months time.

Why did you move back to the UK in the first place?

How are you doing on the job front.

You were unemployed in Florida if I remember correctly? How has the job hunt gone in the UK as I expect this is the most important hurdle to get over?

I am/was in the same boat mate, and have been twice. Search on my posts and that will give you an idea of how strong you need to be. But turnarounds do happen

PM me if you need to

Choice time:

Unemployed in Florida or unemployed in Blighty.

I choose the latter. At least you don't have to pay for healthcare and your benefits won't end after a year as long as you are actively seeking work. When you do get a job, you also have at least a few of those evil socialist things called "employment rights", even though the UK lags behind most of mainland Europe in that regard. You also have more supermarkets to choose from than Publix and Winn-Dixie and can go for a walk or a cycle without being run over by some redneck or balsero tw@t driving a Ford F150.

Florida is a state ran by idiots for idiots. They don't call it Floriduh for nothing.

He applied for spouse visa before the July 2012 changes in UK immigration rules, with savings as proof of ability to support wife.
