Has Anyone Dealt With This Company!

were moving to USA in October and came across a company called WORLD FIRST based in London that give a fantastic rate for transfering £ to $..
I was offered 1.854 this morning - Travelex could only do 1.797..they are not a bank but just convert large sums of money for those emigrating or buying property abroad. They have only been in business for 6months though.

JUST WONDERED IF ANYONE ELSE HAD HEARD OF THEM OR USED THEM...!

My favourite is http://www.hifx.co.uk/index.asp, but there are several others in the same area. I have not heard of this one. The rate you quoted looks very much like the current mid market rate. How close you get to it depends on the amount you are looking to move. Assuming a reasonable amount you should get within a cent or so. Your Bank will do it as well, they will be a little further away but not that much and it may be more convenient.
