Red face A happy and sad week!

I was happy as can be on Monday because my british friend just got back from the UK after leaving in July when her visa ran out... We shopped all day planning things to do over the upcoming holidays (her 9 year old son will arrive just in time for Christmas) and all was right with the world!

But then I found out that a close friend died suddenly yesterday.

Tonight I want to hold all my friends (including you lot) a little closer and be glad that tomorrow you'll still be here... and tomorrow I'm going to send my offline friends a little card telling each and everyone of them that I'm happy to have them in my life.

I'll call people I haven't kept up with as much as should and I'll appreciate the ones that are in my life daily, I wish I'd made plans to have lunch or got together with the ones I haven't seen in a while... since the last funeral anyway!

So for what it's worth... Thank you!

Your friend... Brigie ô¿~

(If you PM me your address I'd like to send you a card too.)

I'm sorry to hear that. I've been back to England only for funerals for the last few years. It is depressing around the time of the death and travelling is difficult, but then much good can come of it if people can get together.

As much as I dislike your TV viewing (EE) your words are kind and warming.

Hope you are well.

Sorry to hear your news Brigie, just got here.
It's terribly sad when someone dies unexpectedly.
I will follow your example and contact my friends today who I haven't kept up with for a while. Thank you for sharing this with us.

So sorry to hear about your friend. It's so hard I know. A family friend of ours died recently...he was only 42. It's so difficult when they are so young. Makes you feel too mortal. {{{Brigie}}}

I meant what I said... friends should be given more attention than they usually get.

Today I'm going to go buy a few seeds (funny time of year I know) and I'm going to put them in pots for a friend that is always talking about growing some herbs in her kitchen... She hasn't got around to it and I have the time to do it for her.

Then another friend of mine has 4 daughters... 3 of them are at school all day, but the youngest (a real handful) is only 3.

Tracey says she can't stand going grocery shopping because it always turns into an ordeal with the little one there. So tomorrow I'm going to pop round and tell her tyo go shopping by herself (I know she shops on Thursdays) I've got a cup cake mix for her toddler and I to make while she is gone.

Then hopefully on Friday I'll be able to make it to my pregnant frineds house so she can go take a long relaxing bath without her 11 month old emptying the bathroom cabinets.

It's the little things us girls apreciate huh?

Disbelief is one of the main things, when my wife and I's colleague died 3 weeks ago, it was crazy - he was only 28. Died skateboarding of all things.....

It was nice though seeing everyone at the funeral, with so many from work.

Unity

All the best to ya Brigie!!!!!!
