So 9 years ago today we landed in the US
Many things have changed for us both as a family(moved states, kids growing up etc.) and for the US as a whole (change of president, dive in the economy) but through it all we love it here ....what changes has anyone else seen....has it changed your view about being here (or wanting to come here??)

My parents said that our family is going to US, in 3 years.
I will be 16 then, can't wait.

Changes, well moved from Maine to Mass, had a baby, lost a job.

Found new appreciation for the NHS, daft things like playing footie in the park and then walking to the pubs afterwards, especially with work colleagues and not talk about work.

Not much has changed my mind about the US though...it's no better or worse a place to live in over all, same shit different bucket and a place I happen to be in. What's good here is good, what ain't ain't and not much has changed since I've been here but the same could be said about England.
