Bill Frist is in trouble too isn't he? And what about Carl Rove? When is he going to get a spanking?

I thought he had no choice and that congressional rules demand that anyone under indictment has to step down.

I actually quite like bill frist as far as republicans go

he stepped out and openly opposed bush on stem cell research

however

despite being intellectually brilliant, he is an ignorant C-UNiT in my eyes as he supports intelligent design, which to me is reprehensible

however, I am going to 'frist friday' this week to see nice works of art in nashville as my gesture towards being cultural

Republican party congressional rules. Dems don't have it in their rule book. The Repub.s put it originally to shame the Dem.s when they were in power; they tried to change it earlier this year when they realised Delay might be in trouble, but were shamed into keeping it.

It will be interesting to see if he lies. Precedents have been set on other indictments.

Likewise with Frist. This has a particulaly bad odour to it., but then I was as much intrigued as to why Governor Blanco did not put Michael Browns comments to route when she appeared before Congress yesterday. Interesting ain't it.

I'm not sure about Blanco, she was before a different committee, she was there to get money. I think she scored more points by saying that she wanted to use her time for the purpose of getting money for her state.

I think that was at least partially motivated by trying to regain some of his credibility with the medical profession after his (ahem) "diagnosis" of Terri Sciavo's condition.
