Hey,
Does anyone know where I can buy a proper haggis (not tinned) in San Diego?
Thanks!

Not in San Diego but I got one flown to Houston from this place:
www.scottishhaggis.com
Cost a fortune but it was really good.
Caledonian Kitchen does it tinned which is pretty good, and I see they also do a proper one too.

I know a few places I can get tinned haggis but I'd love a proper fresh haggis if it can be found...

I would think ordering online would be the best bet, the place in La Mesa doesnt have it, neither does the one in Solana Beach. If you are looking for other brit food in SD, let me know..
Good Luck..

Yes, if Shakespeare's don't have some I'd be surprised - I got my Black Pudding there.

I think I saw some at Major's in Escondido the other day. I don't remember exactly, but it was something that said 'haggis' on it.

Thanks all! We are having some friends over fot St Andrew's day so wanted to try and make some traditional Scottish food. I love haggis but I know some people hate it!

It's a good two decades since I've even lived in Scotland (omg I just did the maths, was it really that long ago?). I only ever had the Tesco one, which was ok I guess. Anyway, seeing this thread makes me contemplate a Burns night supper for my friends here and wondered if these were worth ordering?
