Had a lovely trip...

Got back from Blighty on Monday, have to say weather was bloody lovely. The stella was pure bliss and the fish and chips (malboro chippy in weymouth) was outstanding.

To top it all off it was blazing sunshine for my brothers wedding on Saturday (must be a first). We even flew BA instead of AA this time and was really pleased with the service (mind you we were in Premier class).

Gatwick north was a nightmare (it took 30 bloody minutes to get by the first roundabout) but M25/M3 was flowing.

We hired a VW golf, pretty pokey for a 1.6 it took me 80 miles to find out it was a 6 speed gearbox (wondered why it was revving alittle high  )
Couldn't believe the speed everyone was doing, I was going 80-85 mph and the beemers and mercedes were up my arse, flipping me off and mouthing "move over ya wanker"....Ah nothing like the Brit spirit.

I managed to scoff 4 cornish pasties and 2 packets of marks and sparks sausage rolls in 2 days so that should keep me going till next time. :)
