(Hackable) DVD Player $29.88 Expires 5th Feb
Hey guys...
Just got back from Best Buy - I've just bought (yet another) compact Cyberhome 320 DVD player for my Aussie mate's birthday (as she keeps wanting to watch my UK DVDs LOL!). We have two at home (one is the 300 which seems identical to the 320) and bought one for our daughter to use in her student flat in London.
There is (the dreaded) $10 mail in rebate when you buy it, so it only costs $29.88 (probably varies a little depending on sales tax for your State). However, the promotion ends tomorrow, Saturday 5th February. I think the $10 rebate is only for store customers and not for buying online.
This is the DVD player which you hack just by pressing four buttons on the remote control pad so it turns into a zone-free DVD player....you can then play DVDs from any country in the world so it's great for all those British comedies, dramas, sports documentaries and films which haven't or will not be released in North America.
It has a progressive scan.....and it's also dual voltage so if you like it will also work in Blighty and Down Under etc:

nice one
cutting it a bit to close though for me I think...so what about any other cyber models? and the decent philips one that plays mpeg 4....I heard there was a new firmware that prevented hacks on those? or certainly on the macrovision anyway, don't know if it affected the region hack...

Awesome! Clicked and bought. As luck would have it I already had Best Buy rebates to use up so it didn't cost me a thing.

While I was in a clicking mood I just ordered a new Dyson at $100 cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else.

Nice one! I bought one for the bedroom so me can watch Only Fools and Horses before I go to bed. The wife is going to be pissed off though!! Not a big fan. But shit it's funnier then Seinfeld and Will and Grace which I am forced to watch in bed these days!!!

I actually already bought one of those when I was last in the US in November, before I realised it was hackable. Now I'll definitely be packing all of my UK DVDs when I move out there for good next month

I think it's about time Cyberhome started sending us gift vouchers or something for the free advertising we give them.
I've got three of them and I've bought several for friends

"Bump" !
Just a few hours left to get the DVD player at this low, low price....goes up by $10 after today..(but probably still worth it)
