H4 US visa but, can I set up a business from USA? Can baby work?

HI,
I am here on a H4 visa (my hub has a H1 visa). The answer is prob 'no' but does anyone know whether I can set up an 'internet' business (e.g. mail order business) in USA and deposit money in US bank account (could I open a business bank account)? Or alternatively set the business up and run it from the UK as I still have a house, bank accounts etc. back there and my husband still has a self employed business bank account that the money could be deposited to which is dormant at the moment?

Just trying to look into anyway I can earn some cash 'legally' whilst living in the states.

Also I have a 7 month old son born in the US, I don't suppose it makes any difference him being American as to the Greencard coming through sooner? Can he work??!! ha ha (actually what about model work people are always saying how cute he is??!) Thanks

i'm not a lawyer and i haven't done this either. but i'm pretty sure you can start a business. anyone can form an LLC so long as u're paying the appropriate fees. if u're working for ur business u need the business to sponsor u're H1.
if the business pays you as a 1099, u may not need to file an h1.
talk to a lawyer.
