Question H1 and H4 Visa Stamping at the same time?

I am currently working for a new company on H1b Visa. I have received a new approval notice (H1 Transfer to the current company). My Question is regarding H1b Stamping for me and H4 Stamping for my Wife (getting married at the same time in mumbai). I have not stamped the new H1 yet, on the passport. I still have the old company's H1 stamping on the passport and expiring on Feb 2003. Will I be able to get my H1 stamping and my wife's H4 stamping done at the same time? Or are there any restrictions in mumbai consulate? Please advise.

Or
Can just stamp my wife H4 on my previous visa and new current approved notice. Comming back to usa in 1st week of Dec 2002 and later on stamp my H1B visa here in usa. Please advise.

You don't need a new H-1B just because you work for a new company. Just
use the old one and show the new petition.

Of course, it may be practical to request new H-1B because yours is about
to expire in a few months. However, do keep in mind that if you apply for
a visa, chances are that it will take at least a month or two.

Yes, that's probably better. Just have your wife apply for an H-4 and
don't do anything about your own H-1B right now.
