H1-B marriage to USC
Hi,
I am here on a H1-B visa valid until October 2003 and am planning to marry my USC fiance within the next couple of months, what's the simplest way to proceed to AOS and temporary permanent resident status, and an approximate timeline?
Everything is very straightforward I think, I've never been out of status, our divorces are all final and I'm hoping we can do this without huge legal fees. We live in San Francisco.

Simply file AOS at the SF office. See "tourist adjustment" link on the doc Steen site
for info, forms, etc. Processing times are posted for various INS offices here:
