Default Group Health Plan and Preexisitng Conditions

HI,

We had a letter form our group health plan today regarding pre-existing conditions asking for notification from prir insurers to show this was covered within the last 63 days. How do I go about showing that it was the NHS that covered us?

Thanks in advance!

Can you show them your NHS Medical Card?

You either can get a letter from your old health service, or google the bit of whatever the law is under HIPAA for creditable coverage as there is a section, or there was that talked about other countries social cover being eligible such as the NHS.

Print that out, and show proof of residency in the UK, or a copy of your passport should do it.

Great, thanks very much. I can also show a full paper copy of my medical records too. It;s nothing too serious or major , just want to be preared for any eventuality. Thanks again
