Groundhog Day
Can you believe it after all this mild weather the little rat came out and told us 6 more weeks of winter...
I should go to Pennsyl, and drag him out by the scruff of his neck hahahah
All the old saying are floating back I guess floating around the forums are triggering them off...

Yeah, that little furball...I thought it was hilarious seeing him being held up in the air I wonder what he thinks every year when they pull him out ("oh no...not again!")

Re: Groundhog Day
Groundhog is another name for woodchuck. Which is a rodent. However, the rhyme "how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood" is crap if you use the word groundhog.

It's offical, from the Punxsutawney Groundhog club:
Phil Says Six More Weeks of Winter!
Phil's official forecast as read 2/2/06 at sunrise at Gobbler's Knob:
It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Around the country there are many imitators of me.
In Harrisburg there is Gus who appears on TV
working for the lottery.
Then all around town,
Cute groundhog statues abound.
They all look like me, I found.
Today on the Knob as I'm doing my job,
I don't like this likeness of me.
It's my shadow I see. Six more weeks of mild winter there will be.
