Hi everybody!
Quick question, maybe somebody had the same problem: I am German, married to a US citizen and recently got my permanent resident card in the mail, from the Texas service center (I am in Dallas).
Unfortunately they misspelled my name on the card.
I went to the local office, filled out the form for card replacement and was told that I would have to do the whole fingerprinting and so on over again, and I would get an appointment letter for this.
Well, this has been like 5 or 6 weeks ago and I have not heard back. Any ideas what I should do and/or how long this can take?
Thanks in advance!
Florian

I suspect they got it a little wrong. You would have to give another fingerprint for
the card itself, but if you've had the fingerprint check recently and you went in
just to file an I-90 to change the green-card because of a mistake they made, all you
should have had to do is a new I-89 (with a single fingerprint on each side of the
ard and new photos)
I'd go back again and try to talk to someone else.
