Green Card holder federal jobs
 

Hi
I was wondering if there is a reference that explains what type of federal government jobs a US permanent resident is not allowed to pperform. For example, can engineers working for private companies work on federal jobs (not requiring clearance)?

Have you googled to see if there is such a list? There isn't one on BE, unfortunately.

Job description should outline this.

Agreed, it will definitely be in the Job description, particularly if it's a STEM job because applicants will frequently be on green cards or less.

thank you all for your response. I agree, this might be job / project specific and so that's why I couldn't find anything online...
