I have been in the US for 6 years on an H4 visa as a dependent of my husbands successive H1-B visas. We are anticipating our I-140 and subsequent green card applications in the next 4-5 months. Once I have my green card to I have to remain in the marriage a set length of time before filing for divorce without having my own green card revoked? If anyone can help I would appreciate it, as the answer may determine whether I quit my losses and return to the UK now.
