Hey Patrick,

Not sure if you caught this over the weekend but you need to check out Ice Road Truckers.

It started this Sunday on the History channel and features some hard-core truck driving.

I thought the guys on "The Deadliest Catch" were crazy (and they still are), but this is awesome stuff.

How many episodes of "The dealiest catch" did they make? It seems to go on forever. Now they have this "After the catch" show which cracks me up. The crab season is really short but they have got a lot of mileage out of it. It's great though.

Damn crazy Canucks!!! Though the idea of making $120,000 in 2 months time might seem attractive. Driving 350 miles across frozen lakes in -40 F temps where one breakdown could mean death, or one breakthru (the ice) would certainly mean death....ain't for me.

Thanks ! .... I did see parts of it. The first English trucker I met here was called 'Bulldog' (Ian Sainsbury) He lived in South Carolina and we kept in touch weekly on the phone, the last conversation we had was about 3 years ago, he was in Alaska and was about to cross the ice road, I never heard a thing from him again No phone, no trace
I often wonder if he is at the bottom of that lake
