I'm pretty friendly to a lot of new people - those who come in and are nice and friendly. Even a few who aren't.
Thus far, you are annoying.

Why? Because I defended myself to someone who had a dig for no reason other than to be picky...If people had been nicer to me to start with I would not have been on the defense would I? I did nothing wrong, I only took offense when people started to get nasty with me..and for what..

Alya - don't let them wind you up! The web is full of 'The Grammar Police'. At the end of the day we (well not us, but close) invented the language so they can all jog on! If this is the arrogant welcome you get in the US then sack it. I am off to Basra.
