Got it - Finally...:)

Hi All

We are so psyched. I got my notification from INS on Friday that the Conditional Permanent Residence had been approved. We had our interview on May 1 in Boston. With the additional Security related stuff, they could not stamp the passport. They said it would take about 3 months to get it. They approved it on July 31 (1 day short of 3 month deadline). I AM SO PSYCHED...!!!!

Thanks for all your help, esp Rete, and good luck to all of you.

Way to go ;-)

It is so great to hear that things happened in the timeline INS provided. Wantta bet that within 30 days you have the green card in hand? No. Oh well ;-)

Changing in the space under my dress, I reappear as Queen Mother of Nag and ask you to post or update your AOS interview experience. Here's the page for you.

Damn but it is cramped under my desk and I just noticed my tee shirt is on inside out and backwards!

Re: Got it - Finally...:)

We had our AOS interview nearly nearly two weeks ago in mid-July. I was a little
taken back by the officer when he told us we would receive something in the mail to
tell us about our approval and that he didn't stamp my wife's passport right on the
spot. I had no idea on the timeline for a response here, one person said in the group
that he received a letter the next week...so I was kind of expecting something.
Hopefully I will rest better knowing that you had this experience and that it took so
long for something to come in the mail.....sigh :)

Thanks for the info, and good luck to you!!!!! Congrats
