Default Good news for Atkins dieters

TGIF have added 9 low carb entrees, approved by Atkins, to their menu. Didn't think it would be long before the big boys jumped on this one. Knew I should have opened that low carb snack bar when I thought about it two years ago....would have retired rich by now.

Boots etc in the UK will start selling Atkins snacks and products in the New Year- great news for some of my friends who used to lug a casefull of the stuff home.

That's good to hear. But entrees were never the problem (just order the meat and substitute vegetables for the potatoes/rice/pasta).

Now if they had added low carb desserts ...

I have to agree it is the low-carb desserts that needs a little more thinking!!!

How can it possibly be a thread on good news for Atkins folks, when Mad Cow disease is discovered in America?

Well I guess they'll just have to eat Pork, Chicken, lamb (if you can afford it), veal, salmon, cod etc if they are worried about mad cow disease.

Yeah but that gets old after a while- its nice to have low carb sauces etc and meals such as salmon with pecan lime sauce

Try Publix for a full range of Atkins ice cream deserts- the frozen choc bar sundaes are really good.
