Smile Golden Globe...

Stars await Golden Globe results....

Brokeback Mountain won critics awards in New York and Boston...
The Golden Globe Awards ceremony is set to take place in Los Angeles, with cowboy romance Brokeback Mountain dominating with seven nominations. I hope Joaquin Phoenix gets recognised as I thought he was brill in 'Walk The Line'...not really a C & W fan however I think this was a great performance by young MR. Phoenix. Any BE folk got any preferences??

Oh, interesting - didn't realise he used to be called leaf though I've heard the name years ago.

Yeah, it certainly is. It must have been very hard for Joaquin, he was with him the night he died, he made the 911 call.

Hope I'm not spoiling it for anyone, but Hugh Laurie just got a Golden Globe for House (drama). Being how I just LOVE Hugh Laurie, I was just about bouncing around the living room.... LOL!

Yup. Don't even give a toss about the Oscars since moving here (excepting when our old gal won a couple of years ago of course ), due to the weekly pat-on-the-back-see-how-talented-we-all-are fests.
