Global Dimming?
 
Never heard about this before. Most people have heard of Global Warming, but Global Dimming is a new phenomena.

Hi CAROL

GD is not a new phenomena, it had been suspected for sometime, however it was confirmed when all planes were grounded in the US after 9/11.

There was a programme (Horizon) in the UK about global dimming early last year.

perhaps this might account for why the Brazilian Rain Forrest is drying out. Experts fear much of it may die in the next century.
