Paul is an engineer (currently manufacturing motorsports transmissions). we would like to find an employer to sponsor us can anyone help as it seems to be not what you know but who you know

In the present economic climate with so many qualified american engineers out of work I think the chances of a company going to the expense of sponsoring Paul (a foreigner) when there is a glut in their own back yard is minimal.
Either wait a few years until the recovery is in full swing or get a job with a company that has offices in America and do an inter company transfer.
