I really don't think INS cares "where" you marry :)

Some have posted that it takes a while to get your certified marriage certificate
from Las Vegas, so you will have to wait to send in your AOS. Take Care. Shelley

My wife and I were married in Las Vegas and she just got her Greencard stamp only
after 10 months of waiting in Detroit.

we only had to wait about a week to get our certified marriage certificate from
Vegas. They have a website you can order it from and you can look up to see if you're
posted after the marriage.

At least in our case there seemed to be no question about where we were married.

When you say you had to wait 10 months for the Green Card stamp, this still means the ailien was able to work until reciving the stamp right?
You don't happen to know the web site you can order you certificate from do you?

Thanks

Rob

that is ten months for the AOS interview that will determine if you get a green card or not. The green card is not the same as the EAD card.

Think you need to be reading a little more K-1 history in your course of studies along with your educational pursuits.

Do a search of the web for the vegas site you need.
