What is wrong with this guy?
"George Bush winks at indiscriminate killings, further tarring the reputation of the U.S. military."
By forcing repeat combat assignments to Iraq and Afghanistan -- and by winking at torture and indiscriminate killings -- George W. Bush is degrading the reputation of the U.S. military, turning enlisted soldiers and intelligence officers into murderers and sadists.

What gets me is how much the British public seem to hate GBW and his policies. But Seldom do I see the UK government criticized as much for supporting and implementing those policies. I long for the day that UK actually has an independent foreign policy. Part of the reason the UK always does what the US says is that our "independent" nuclear deterrent is wholly dependent on the US supplying us with Trident missile systems.

The yanks should be mad, if they are, at GWB.
If the Brits are mad that they're involved in the war, they should be mad at their own politicians, imo.

I guess I just feel he is only responsible for what the US does - if other nations choose to follow his lead. that's the responsiblity of their leaders.
