I was just reading through the tread about the US and UK's 'Special Relationship' and found myself laughing aloud at some of the responses, so continuing on similar lines, Whats the funniest / stupidest / most offensive question you've ever been asked?
I've lived here for nearly a year and have heard all sorts of questions, my favourites thus far have been;
'So are England and Australia separate countries because I know they're joined in some way' (that came from a respectable businessman in a suit)
'Have you ever seen snow?'
I've also been told by a man in Wisconsin that he 'respects those that come across and try to learn the language' and that 'I shouldn't be embassed' that he couldn't understand me 'It'll Come' - that was after I'd told him 3 or 4 times that I grew up in London

Sunday on the beach, 8 yr old boy (Very very bright, we always talk to him & his family), he ask me "What language do you speak" I say, "What language do you speak" He replies "Regular".

Last week I was picking up some screenwash from Autozone. After filling the wash bottle, a 20 something guy asked me if I knew how to remove his old windscreen wipers from his Honda civic. Being An English gentlemen, I helped him remove the old ones & install the new. At this point, he informed me his wife, was from Peckham Sth London England, her name was ??? & do I know her? No I say there are 58 million people in UK. He whips out her photo & again says do I know her? I did notice she had more front then Brighton, he says did you see she is a lot older me? Na, did not notice, to busy ogling Brighton.
Ya can't make this stuff up.

Top man........ I never understand why people come on here telling everybody else how bored they are with goings on. If they don't like it then why don't they simply f**k off.
Quite frankly, if people come on here and take it seriously, then they will get bored and often offended.
