I was once asked by a customer if that is a British accent, when I told him it was he asked if I got it in Britain. I told him no, I got it at Sears, it was on sale! His friends found it hilarious, he didn't for some reason. I've also been welcomed to a democracy.

A checkout girl at wal mart asked me today - do you want a reciept for that? I was buying bog roll so I thought it was a dumb question. I said - naa love, I'm pretty sure I won't be returning it. Her face went from blank, to sudden realisation, to utter horror. humourless cow!!

Oh wait, just thought of a couple. Might have mentioned them before in a similar thread but here goes. The wifes dad (who is a f ookin Dr!!!) while watching a doco about princess di's demise asked me: So, is that why they got divorced then? Totally seriously. My beer went down my nose!!!! Did big ears divoirce her coz she got killed in a car wreck.
