Interesting contrast with the system in England. There, I ordered tests in the evening - they were delivered in the post the next morning. Less than 12 hours.

It’s a joke. Tests should have been available in the fall as the likelihood of a winter surge in cases was quite large, omicron or no omicron. And as I previously pointed out, Medicare is not even starting its test reimbursement program until early spring!

It's a joke! I thought it would be 4 boxes, not 4 actual tests. In a household of 5, we would still have to hunt down another 3 more boxes if one of us came down with Covid. At least now, we can claim the cost back on our health insurance.

It is interesting that the box the two US tests come in is bigger than the box the seven British tests come in.

I wasn't even aware you could get more than 1 set but noticed my insurance company are now encouraging me to order my second set, I guess that's to stop me from sending them the bill for any I may buy.

My tests arrived today, so less than a week. Card and reagent made in America, swabs, Thailand!
I thought I have heard they are available free 4 per month, as opposed to a one off? Or is that only via insurance rebate?

I had an email today from Medicare to order our second free tests. Just got confirmation from USPS for the order.

I received a set of “free” at point of delivery CV19 test today. Ordered on the 9rh when I saw a FB post from our junior Senator in CT. 4 pack of Korean made Roche test kits in a small ish box .

expiry on these in a August so will have to use them after iHeath and before my Abbotts.
