Has it? I thought they were quite amenable to homeless people and that is why there are so many there.

if it hasn't been mentioned the "Little Britain" is in Santa Monica.

this Deli is legendary in L.A. it's right by a Subway station per the yelp map:

http://www.yelp.com/biz/langers-deli...nt-los-angeles

the area may be spotty at times though.

the general LA area may be the best area for Asian Food in the Continental U.S.
good Korean bbq accessible by subway. lively area. in Koreatown

Excellent. I've eaten at Langer's often. Note that their hours are now quite limited.

To OP on "Yelp" reviews. Yelp is an excellent way to get real reviews from real people. However, be careful in use of Yelp -- there will almost always to negative reviews on any particular place. It is not uncommon for an excellent restaurant to have 30 good reviews and five reviews from Hell. Even the top places, such as the "The Ath" at CalTech has "blah" reviews. [p.s. the Ath is not open to the public. If one is a member of a university faculty club elsewhere in the world, there is often reciprocal benefits. It is kind of like the old English Clubs].

I noted this when looking up Phillipes.

I just ran the Los Angeles Conservancy through Yelp. No negative reviews!! One thing about their tours is that you walk with Angelinos playing tourist in their own city. OP's will probably strike up several interesting conversations with other people on the tour.
