Fort Myers Area - Property Prices?
Hi
Real Estate prices have gone through the roof in Orlando over the last two years and we feel that we have missed the boat so to speak. We should have bought a house earlier and just taken a larger mortgage than we wanted to.
House price increases have also doubled property taxes, and property taxes have become a serious consideration as they now consume a substantial part of your income.
We really like the West Coast and are wondering whether prices have increased the same or are there still bargains to be had?
Is Cape Coral substantially cheaper than Fort Myers?
We would be very grateful to hear any recent experiences anyone has had with real estate purchases on the south west coast.

either coast, the prices are getting silly for anything decent...
